Top PSP Game Titles for 2010

2010 has been a great year so far for entertainment as both the cinema and PC game industries are getting their share of attention – thanks to highly anticipated titles and releases. For instance, the PlayStation Portable (PSP) has got a number of great treats for its fans with the release of some eagerly awaited games. With the following titles out on the market, gamers will really have something to rejoice about.

After a decade-long absence, the Japanese novel-based horror game series, Parasite Eve, comes to your PSPs in a format different from its predecessors’. While the original game was formatted as an RPG (role-playing game), and the succeeding release was designed as a survival horror story, the third instalment is gunning to be a third-person shooter, literally. As the beautiful policewoman, Aya Brea, returns to the lead role in Parasite Eve: The 3rd Birthday, critiques and gamers alike are expecting great things. Not straying far from the horror genre, PSP will also say hello to what could be the next chapter in the Resident Evil story – Resident Evil Portable. According to the game’s developers, it is not a remake of previous titles; instead, it is an all-new game designed specifically for the PSP platform – something that zombie slayers will definitely enjoy. Next comes the full-fledged instalment of the Metal Gear Solid series and many are surprised that the franchise has shifted their attention to the PSP. Historically designed for a single player experience, the latest title – Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker – is aimed to provide the player with cooperative play.
